Mission

The The Tanauan Leyte Assumption Foundation aims to provide socio-economic assistance through charities and grants for the benefit of the poor families of the communities we serve, by augmenting their basic healthcare and educational needs.

History

The Tanauan Leyte Assumption Society (TLAS) of Northern California has been helping the indigents of Tanauan, Leyte through its various projects:
• College Scholarships
• Balik Ayuda (Gift Giving)
• Medical/Dental Missions
Inspired by success of these endeavors and the desire to help more people, the officers and members of TLAS formed the Tanauan Leyte Assumption Foundation (TLAF).  The Foundation aims to reap the financial benefits of being a 501(c)(3) registered organization and reach Tanauananons around the world.
